Together with local kids and youngsters from Nørrebro we built a meanwhile urban space at Hermodsgade.

We wanted to try out a variety of physical settings to see what would resonate with the neighborhood and give the local urban renewal project (Områdefornyelsen Skjolds Plads) insights in what works and what doesn’t. The process can be seen as a form of urban prototyping in full scale!

Through 3 phases our participants worked with gatherings ideas, designing, making physical models, sketching and lastly building in full scale with our team. We partnered up with Nørrebrobyggerne (an organisation working with the local youth) to qualify our program for participation and properly anchor the project in the context of the neighborhood.
